Technology College Sarawak (TCS) is a Private Higher Education Institution (IPTS) in compliance with Act 555 under Private Higher Educational Institutions Act 1996, Laws of Malaysia, as well as by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). We also observe the policy and procedure in relation to the collection, usage, storage, security and disclosure of personal information by, or for TCS so that the College complies with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), enforced on 15 November 2013.

Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
(formerly known as Lembaga Akreditasi Negara, LAN)
All courses offered at TCS are fully accredited by MQA and recognised by the Public Service Department (JPA), except for the new courses that are equipped with provisional accreditation by MQA.

Quality Management System (ISO)
TCS has successfully obtained ISO 9002 certification within 3 months of its operation in August 2000. On 18th April 2002, TCS passed the upgrading to new ISO 9001: 2000 certification, making it the first private college in East Malaysia to achieve it and one of the very few nationally. Consistent with its commitment for continuing quality improvement, TCS has successfully upgraded its Quality Management System standards to ISO 9001: 2015 on 6th December 2016.

Quality Evaluation System (MyQUEST)
TCS has successfully achieved 5 Stars recognition from the Quality Evaluation System for Private College (MyQUEST) audit by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) in 2015. MyQUEST is designed by MOHE to evaluate the quality of colleges as an institution rather than looking at the specific courses.

Edexcel International, UK
TCS has successfully achieved 3As in the areas of Quality Assessment, Candidate Support, and Internal Verification by Edexcel International, UK. Edexcel is a multinational education and examination body owned by Pearson. It is the UK’s largest awarding organisation offering academic and vocational qualification in schools, colleges, and work places in the UK and abroad. It is also recognised internationally. Edexcel is a portmanteau term combining the words Education & Excellence.

Passing Rate, Employability Rate & Career Achievement
TCS has successfully maintained the overall student passing rate of 99% for the pass 3 years. In addition, at TCS, our concern for our student does not stop upon graduation. TCS will always guide, assist, and monitor our graduates via our alumni and industrial linkage unit to ensure our graduates can secure their employability. Our statistics have shown that 96.6% of our graduates have successfully been employed. TCS is also proud that 91.5% of its graduates secured their career related to their field.
